Our Story
From a Manhattan Corner Shop to a Global Name
DEO was born in a 400 sq ft boutique on Watch Street, Manhattan. Marcus Ellison — a former Patek Philippe watchmaker — had one ambition: to make the quiet magic of fine watchmaking accessible to everyone.
Word spread. Collectors crossed the country to experience Marcus's encyclopaedic knowledge. By 2001 we'd gone online, pioneering luxury e-commerce before it was fashionable.
